i noticed the skin
on the side of my left hand
below the smallest finger
at the joint of the wrist
and thought
what old man is that
attached to
as it typed
at my keyboard
veins like a relief map
made of flour, salt, and water

Wow. That’s imaginative.
Thanks so much.
your words feel fresh and young
I appreciate your saying so! But the last time I put my hands under an electric hand drawer, I was shocked by just how much my skin flapped around. Reminded me of those astronaut training films when they’re strapped into the vomit comet.
I understand…though I think I am probably older than you…
I hate those dryers- very frightening
By a couple of years, maybe. Your voice is quite young…😀
It does sound young I have been told – as young as 12
I don’t know if I’d say that young. Definite youth, though. I like your readings.
grazie
I enjoy yours
Don’t worry, it’s just skin. You should see the orange peel skin thighs of some kids…
Ha ha ha
Well, at least the skin on your hands can now flap simultaneously with your wings 🙂
Nice!
