i meditated until i couldn’t feel
my toes and succeeded
in reversing my skin
with my bones
it seemed such a shame to keep all
that armor on the inside
floating and leaving no trace
i meditated until i couldn’t feel
my toes and succeeded
in reversing my skin
with my bones
it seemed such a shame to keep all
that armor on the inside

Lovely image! I hope you didn’t bleed everywhere. What an imagination! I bet you’re never bored. Lol. πͺππ
Oh, I am when I’m not writing or sculpting. Or playing a gameπ
What games? Are you a gamer?
I still want to see your pottery. Will you post some on Facebook?
Hey, I’m on my way out to the store. I’ll read the rest of your poems late tonight. Have a super week!
I’m a Nintendo fan since the first console. I have all of them in my garage. I just today finished The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It was pretty great.
I’ll post some of my pieces, maybe there.
Very cool and old school. I played Zelda years and years ago. Do you dress up in a loin cloth as you sword play?π
No, I don’t wear anything when I play. Nothing special, I mean. I can still answer the doorbell without scaring the girl scouts.
Yes, please post your pottery!
Ok, but don’t be disappointed. I don’t really do pots. Heads mostly. Did a leg once. π
Did the leg look like the leg lamp from “A Christmas Story?” Do you mean you make mostly busts?
No, the leg is basically my leg. And so far, aside from the leg, that’s all I’ve made.
I’d like to see your sculptures sometime
I’m going to have to add a new category to the blog. Maybe I’ll get a good picture of the first one tonight.
Visually stunning! Bravo!
Thanks!
Love it!!
Excellent! I’m glad!
I love this too. Striking imagery and concept.
Thanks. It reminds me of turtles. I only recently learned that their shells are modified ribs. Bizarre.
This is simply beautiful! Covers never count, skin is a false facade. And yes, beauty goes down and settles in bones. So why not put what really matters on display. Lovely composition!
Thank you! π
