Poem 20160330

March 30, 2016March 30, 2016 crow

temporary blindness
transient invisibility
brought on by mirrors

obscured
out of line
shuddering iris
flickering sight
collapsing retina

you see the room
behind you
your clothes
but never yourself

sometimes the you were
never the you are
