the lizard basks
doing sidewalk pushups
and doesn’t move

resting in my hand
the perfect summer fruit
sweeter in my mouth

Yesterday was Friday and I forgot about the haiku!

So here is the Saturday almost haiku.

the driver turns
his passenger in a red dress
matching lipstick
