erupt!

          spring out of the earth
a thousand

thousand grasses
a million blooms heavy
with the buzzing
                  of bees
and the hummings of birds
        who have forgotten the words

and soon
         soon
the peaches
with their soft fuzz
  and their sensual curves
      dripping with sticky
          sweet
nectar
