Poem 20150428b

April 28, 2015April 28, 2015 crow

step outside
steal a few moments
from the clock
feel the warmth
sinking through my shirt
into my back like
hands pressing down
with angel’s voice says
this is enough
and light wraps you hard enough
to crack your ribs
so tight you stop caring
about air
certain you can breathe
the sunshine
